Looks good,I just hope there will be Outposts of difering sizes, with smaller ones made more for for simply Food and Trading, and Bigger outposts going towards heavily fortified Gun dealing and such(still saying Mech Shops should be incorporated in outposts, just saying...) Still, looks quite nice!
Looks good so far. Actually... is that a new shield sprite? That one looks very well This game can be played by 2 my friends and yes its me.
Looks very good, I like the light on the plant holder. I'd like to say something though, the dungeons and outposts and camps etc still feel very stiff when approaching them with the character, this might just be my opinion, but I would like to see more mystery, something with the atmosphere which could make approaching a dungeon and etc more interesting, like solving puzzles to reach a treasure for example.
If you want to make sure players feel extra welcome, you could put TWO plants! This looks amazing, by the way. I like the different "style" of this outpost vs the old ones, and I hope that there are many more styles ahead in the future!
Just ran into one now on the nightly build. A room was furnished. It was a bathroom. YOu can use the stalls lol
What kind of specific combinations were you avoiding? Looks nice, though! I don't think it's new... I think I have one on my stable character.
Just look at that houseplant there! SO INVITING! Why I feel as if I never even left home! Joking aside the look of that outpost lobby looks really cool. Just not sure if inviting is a term I'd use to describe it. But the potted plant there does kind of give the outpost a shopping mall feel, the same kind of sense of (we placed this here so that you weren't surrounded ONLY by metal, concrete, and fluorescent lights). All that's really missing is a ubiquitous shopping mall map complete with a "YOU ARE HERE" marker.
Pretty. Are we assuming everyone is either able to breathe in a vacuum or is wearing space gear of some kind? If not, maybe put some kind of chamber between indoor and outdoor areas. You could make wired to a switch like system to make sure only one door is open at a time. Don't want to lose the bases pressurization! Cheers!
Looks good! One question though, are all the outposts gonna be so ritzy or will there be some more slummy/backwater looking? All of my favorite outposts from sci-fi were run down and dusty, full of trash heaps, flickering lights and busted spaceships.
I like the look of the outpost so far! But isn't the first room the airlock? Should you be placing plants in an airlock?
