MISSING DERRICK-need help finding certain creature

Hmm, the albino derreck has an interesting face. "Need to find an orange derreck? Why not Zoidberg?"

 

I found a pinkish Derrik but it doesn't have the bulb. I caught it anyway and continued my quest to find the missing Derrik.

 

Found a big one that's the closest I've seen to derrick so far. Only saw this one on the planet so far. it was also docile. (running an Avali character right now, so that may screw with the universe generation)

 

I have found one of derrick's cousins and it mauled me to death until I trapped it in here

 

I was looking up a coordinates for a pirate coat (you can find one by going to the right a little ways and going into one of the holes), yet I also discovered this on the same planet:

The Curious Purple Derrick
I had been on a long journey when I found this large, menacing Derrick sitting in front of me, sleeping.

The sight of me sparked interest in its eyes. It walked towards me but did not display any hostile behavior.
Be careful though! If you approach it, the large Derrick will turn hostile and, in self defense, spit large clods of grit, stored in the top of its mouth.
Sadly, the large beast is too big to fit in a standard capture pod.

It just occurred to me this guy is farting rainbow sparkles. That's not proper conduct in front of a Derrick.

 

Derrick will be found, some day...
It may be after the end of the universe (world wipe), but he will be found!
In fact, I bet he's lounging in a treasure biome/room right now!

I'm a serial killer and cannibal IRL, and I instagram all my meals first. So yeah, it's pretty much a standard.

 

...I now understand why Derrick left...

 

Whilst on my regular search for seasoning and other alchemical ingredients I spotted a large reptillian creature, perhaps Derrick, however before I could confirm my suspicions the creature had vanished. Abandoning my cherry picking endeavor I set out on the hunt for the possible Derrick; over mountains, through valleys, across lakes it seemed my journey was in vain and the trail cold.

Upon deciding to turn back and continue with my previous quest I spotted it again... heading underground...
Barely containing my excitement I followed suit. However, Lady Luck is a fickle mistress and the creature I was met with put a dampener on my spirits.




T'was merely an ugly (and completely different) creature mocking me in the underground caverns with its... its... mockery!!
Go on. Mock me. Laugh! But 'twas not the creature laughing.


It was God. Dies Irae!!

 

The Skull-Faced Yellow Descendant
I have had my second encounter with a species related to Derrick.

This creature at first looked like another species that had no connection with Derrick until I saw the plated back. It held a shocking resemblance to the picture of Derick. After viewing a High Detail Derrick photograph, I realized that this creature was somehow related to Derrick. Its back has an intricate design that matches the Derrick, marking it as a descendant of the Orange Derrick. Beware, though! This creature is very quick and territorial. Luckily, its means of attack are secluded to triple-hopping and body slamming, both examples of very strong leg muscles.
