Not a bad planet, many surface chests (found a steel drum and a legendary water sword) and a large Glitch Castle from which I found 2 Magic Scroll capes inside the castle chests.

 

that ship probly did have the merchant it just don't look like one but ya they will shoot ya if ya hit them by mistake. but the npc is in red in the room under the stern deck. and for some reason they are not allways there. here is 1 I just found in the X sector ( x-31 y 3 ) ( x al athfar 0768 ii planet x al athfar 0768 I desert level 10 ) the ancor is at the beam down spot all hi level guns

Found Glitch laboratory with matter block spawner, a lots of loot and some social stuff: Scientist Glases, Scientis coat and Hicker jacket (go left about 1 screen from the spawn)

 

I didn't find any of the instruments, but I found a pair of pilot goggles. I really wanted that mic. :/
EDIT: Managed to find it in a surface chest really far left. Thanks dude.

There's an abandoned, very small Labor five steps to the left of the spawn.
Another Laboratory can be found 30 seconds to the right. It's very small building with one room, containing a High-Tech Chest in it. Though, there's a poison pool under the platform, it is very easy to obtain as it's a Level 1-planet.
The other High-Tech Chest comes after a quite long walk to the right of the previous Chest. It is not far from the ground, just at the entrance of a cave.

I just found a "Dash"-Tech blueprint and 160+ Pixels, so try your luck!

Found a mushroom village. In and around the village are a few mushroom chests with blueprints for mushroom furniture and a mushroom hat.
Head right from the spawn point.

where you beam down go left there will be the building for the matter generator, then just keep going and you'll find a chest in a eye forest..

This was actually my home planet and forgot about this, so ENJOY!

 

Fancy Floppy Hat and a Chef Spawner, as well as a rare shotgun.
Head left of the spawn to get the rare shotgun, and keep heading left until you find two more chests. The first one you should encounter contains Ore and Pixels. The second one will contain the Hat and the Chef Spawner.
