This is beautiful, and I like the news about the kind of items you guys want to implement as well. And also... Blinking confirmed! OMG!
No probs. To tell you the truth it took me a minute to recognize it. But when I heard the beat and the tone I was "hold on a f*cking second...I know this song...."
Sounds like a daycare full of toddlers singing with autotune OR a Sims game with autotune...Its beautiful. Though a smoother vocal change would be nice! (I guess, I don't know I'm very tired. Still seems cool to sing and play instruments!)
Please tell me that Glitch characters get robot synthesizer voices. Because that would make me so happy.
I've got to say, the random key drops are more irritating than anything else. Sure, 5 people get a free game, but hundreds of others feel jipped. It feels like the progress (which is AWESOME, don't get me wrong) is undermined by the feeling of loss of not catching the links in time. Regardless, still really looking forward to a great experience with Starbound soon!
Ocarina's make me happy. I hope there are other Zelda references. Now excuse me while I prepare codes for all the ocarina tunes to import...
Awesome daily updates! I want to beep-boop as a Glitch! Also, please bare in mind that the singing is not an audition but more a WIP to show you the general concept of the feature that will gradually improve! Thanks for the sneak-peak Stephen! *Will someone please implement a beer emoticon? lol* Anyway, looks to me like the game is really coming along nicely and on track! All these are of course thanks to the rock solid foundation the DEVS has built upon in the initial phases! The addition of a beginners tutorial too? Is that the sweet smell of Beta lingering in the air? Allow me to indulge in it a little more:
Could you use the singing system as minor or NPC voice acting, leaving the real voice acting to cut scenes or story quests?
